In Eli’s Words

I, Eli, am writing this. I am completely amazed at the unbelievable surprise.

My mom made me a parade.

It was incredible and that is why I am doing a post. I would like to thank all of you. The only way I know of to describe my gratitude is I don’t know how to describe it.

Now I will tell you what happened in my view. Me and my mom were going to the church on our way home from my port removal surgery. I thought my brothers and sisters were biking when I got there. But, when I got there it wasn’t what I expected. I then thought we were doing a little party with some friends and family.

But then we did a parade. It was like the entire neighborhood was watching and when I got home, a fire truck came–it was cool.

The rest of the siblings
Some of the neighbors
More neighbors
Even more neighbors cheer
Nextdoor neighbors
Back home with family and friends

fire truck does a drive by

Again, I must thank you and remind you that my only way to describe my gratitude for you is: indescribable.

Neighbors brought some of the signs
to our house for Eli’s enjoyment

Thank you so much for your support!

Eli

I am so happy that you had such a great parade to celebrate the good people who have supported you and been so kind to you. I am so proud of you for facing your challenge with courage and a smile!
