It’s been four years since Eli died. Grief is still my constant companion.

On a different note, we have resolved, but never solved, The Great Skeleton Heist of 2025. On Halloween, as per tradition, we put Mr. Bones out with a bowl full of candy (freeze dried Skittles this time) on Eli’s grave.

That’s the last time we saw him. There are confirmed sightings later that evening at 7pm and 9:30pm, but when Adam and I returned the next afternoon, Mr. Bones had disappeared without a trace. Either he escaped on his own or was absconded with. We still don’t have an answer, but a kind person in our city gave us a replacement.
