Neither snow nor rain…

nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.

Nor sleet nor flu prevent Eli from getting radiation. Today was the last of six weeks of radiation treatment, every week day except holidays.

During that time, we had all sorts of weather that made driving difficult and, at least once, impossible. We had illness. We had car repairs. Eli developed skin burns. Nothing was an excuse to miss or postpone radiation sessions. Day after day we went. Even on days tree hat Eli decided he’d had enough of chemo and radiation, we still went. Now radiation is done and 25 weeks of chemo left.

He was a staff favorite. They will miss him and we will miss them, but we all hope to not need to be there again.
